This story is a legend its called the Owl and the Raven. It is a Eskimo legend. This legend started out with a raven and an owl they were close friends. They liked to trade things with each other.
So the owl wanted the raven to make a white dress for the owl. The raven agreed to make the dress and the raven told the owl that it would be done tomorrow.
The owl got mad that the dress wasn't ready in the morning so she emptied a blubber lamp on the dress and the dress turned black and it stayed that way forever.
