It's called profit, little miss Annie!
WOW! Your horses have such amazing manes, how do you care for them so well?
In the horse back riding fee, I charge those for food and water for my horses. I always make sure to charge a little more than total for their food and water though!
Isn't that wrong, Mr. Welch:?
Well, no Annie, it's not. You see my business is to teach people how to ride horses. Horses have needs just as well as people, needs like food and water which is basically what I charge when i teach someone how to ride a horse.
Do you ever get any money Mr. Welch?
Well, yes. That's another way I pay for all of this land! By making profit off of not only the foods I grow but also for the services I offer, including horseback riding!
Oh now I understand! You charge a little extra money not only to keep your business going but also to help pay for your needs and wants!
For my horses needs too!
Thank you for coming to Mr. Welch's farm!
