To Kill A Mockingbird Ch. 1-4
Dill was always curious about the Radley place so he dared Jem to go and touch the house. But Jem was too scared. So Dill and Scout had to go and wait on the lawn for him.
Touch the house Jem or are you too scared?
Scout got in trouble twice on her first day of school because she already knew how to read and write. She also told Miss Carolin that Walter couldn't take her money because he was poor and couldn't pay her back.
He can't take your money because he's a Cunningham.
Scout gets in trouble by Calpurnia for embarrassing Walter at dinner because he put syrup on all of his food. So Calpurnia tells her that she needs to be kind to her guests and others.
Scout is on her way home a find something shiny in a knot of a tree next to the Radley house. She looks inside and finds gum. Later in the book her and Jem find two pennies. That they think somebody was hiding there.
