  • Eyes have changed over time by being able to now adapt underwater.
  • This is beneficial because the Hylons have taken over Earth and there is no place else to live. Also they can see prey coming like large animals such as sharks,octopuses and eels.
  • Another way the eyes have changed is having a waterproof underwater eyelid.
  • This is beneficial to human survival because you cannot see underwater without goggles so this will provide you to see clearly underwater with your eyes open.
  • The benefits of the changes are that you will be able to adapt to your new environment.
  • This is important because you need to know how to adapt to a new environment especially if you are going to be living their for the rest of your life.
  • Some more changes are that the sclera, cornea and pupil all let water inside of them as well as light. This is beneficial because if it only let in light then people's eyes would burn. Plus the only way the underwater eyelid can be activated is by letting in water.
  • These are necessary because they will help people who must now swim everywhere and will need clear long vision.
  • Other changes are the lens, iris and optic nerve all let in water. This is important because they all refract water to create an image. A new part that helps you see at nigh is the night vision infrared lens. The night alarm vibrator will alert humans if they fall asleep and danger is near.
  • Wow! The side eye extender will help and allow us see on each of our sides making us aware of our surroundings in the water.
  • Life for a human being from 2013 would be hard due to the fact that they cannot see underwater without goggles.
  • Also they are land creatures and are used to walking and their eyes would be sensitive to the water without goggles.
