The Great Depression

Elijah is a 9 year old boy that lives on his family's wheat farm in Moore, Oklahoma.
Elijah's typical day consisted of him helping his father at the farm before going to school and then getting to play during the afternoon.
That was until the Great Depression. Now there were other families living in his home and he wasn't allowed to do things he did before.
Elijah's parents couldn't farm anymore because the Dust Bowl made it impossible to keep very much crop alive.
I am proposing a set of New Deals to save America!
Then President Roosevelt was elected and he promised to help Americans. Elijah thought he was a hero and knew he would save his family.
The AAA program provided an aid for his family by helping them to recover and get back a sense of normalcy from before the Great Depression.
