During a late night, Sandra was starting to fall asleep while studying for APUSH. At that moment, a man appeared in her room
Who are you and what are you doing in my room?
I'm a veteran who died during World War II. I'm giving you the chance to make 3 wishes that would change the outcome of WWII. However, you can't kill anyone, make someone fall in love, or wish for more wishes. Now, what would your first wish be?
I wish that the United States had abandoned their thoughts and beliefs of isolation to join Britain and France in an alliance to defeat Germany and Germany’s allies. If this were to happen, then the United States, Britain, and France would have quickly and easily defeated the German. If we had defeated the Germans, then the bombing of Pearl Harbor would have never happened.
You seem to have thoroughly thought this out before, haven't you? What would you wish for after that though?
I would wish for the Japanese surrendered to the United States after their first bombing of Hiroshima instead of after the annihilation of Nagasaki. If the Japanese surrendered earlier, then the United States would not feel inclined to launch another bomb.
That seems pretty logical, do you have any ideas for your last wish? Keep in mind that it's your last one.
