Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe
One day in 1930 in Whitman, Massachusetts, Ruth Graves Wakefield was in her kitchen making chocolate butter drop do cookies. Ruth was out of bakers chocolate, so instead used the block nestle toll house chocolate chips. Her idea was that the chocolate would melt and disappear through the cookie dough. However, the chocolate chips stayed in their original form.
There are mainly two lesson learned from Ruth Wakefields chocolate chip cookie mistake. For instance, even if your main plan fails, it can still become something successful. Another lesson learned, is that you can always try new ideas. You never know when you try something new, it might turn out fantastic and become very popular.
Many accomplishments came out of the mistake that Ruth made when trying to make Chocolate butter drop do cookies. For instance, Ruth published, Toll House And True Recipes, with the chocolate crunch cookie in the book. Therefore the book made chocolate chip cookies more popular. Another success is that many people till this day, at least I know love to bake chocolate chip cookies, thanks to Ruth Wakefield.
