Yay! We are no longer 3/5 of a person in the United States as previously agreed in the Three-Fifths Compromise!
Yeah, yeah. I am from the North and I don't know if I am okay with this change to the U.S. Constitution!
Well that doesn't matter to me! Thanks to the 14th Amendment, all of us men born or naturalized in the U.S. are now citizens!
Hey, what about us women? Shouldn't we be important by now, at least a little?
Nah, you women still have some time before you will all be considered citizens.
Ugh! Well, at least the 15th Amendment allows citizens to vote whatever their race or social status! Maybe women's rights are coming!
