American Dream- Lennie and George have a dream of living on their own ranch one day and having rabbits and cats and dogs after working on the work ranch.
Inequality- When Curley's wife gets mad at Crooks for telling her to leave Lennie alone and get out and she tells him that she could have him dead in a heartbeat.
Friendship- George and Lennie are close friends and both got jobs together on a ranch to save for their own place when they was done with working.
Broken Plans- George and Lennie's plans got broken when Lennie killed Curley's wife.
Loneliness- Crooks was lonely because he lived alone in the barn and was cautious of who he talked to and stayed to himself because he was black and couldn't talk to anyone.
