LET US EXPLORE
In 1648, Semen Dezhnev sailed along the Siberian coast through the Bering Strait to the Anadir River.
Part way through Bering's second expedition, they were greeted by Natives that invited them ashore. They traded goods, and then the Natives took hold of one of the Russian natives on Bering's ship and tried to keep him.
Once they Arrived in Okhotsk, they built the St. Paul and the St. Peter, their two ships. St. Peter had Bering in it, along with Steller and the St. Paul had Aleksi Chirikov.
