  • Adultery John
  • The town of Salem turns into mass hysteria as innocent people are accused & convicted by those of no integrity. These accusations lay the foundation for the twisting justice of this town & as fear takes over, this starts to alter everyone's logic causing people to turn on each other whom they've known for many years for such heinous crimes.
  • I saw you chanting & swaying in the woods!
  • You beg me to conjure! I don't compact with no Devil!
  • Many characters In the Crucible face a tough decision; to protect their reputation or their integrity(the way they perceive themselves). At the end, Proctor makes a heroic choice not to make a false confession & not sign an untrue statement. He realizes that his reputation is at stake & the only way to save it is by telling the truth. His desire to keep his good name & integrity redeems him from his previous failure & he dies with integrity.
