Storyboard Text

  • In this scene Les Goodman's car starts up, in his drive way. This scene takes place after he said that he couldn't get his car working . They start to attack thinking that he is the alien that Tommy was explaining.
  • What do you say we ask him.
  • I'm surprised at you Charlie. How come you have become so dense all of a sudden.
  • In this scene Charlie is blaming Steve of being the monster for having a ham radio set and thinking that it is a way to speak to the aliens. This takes place still outside of Les Goodman's house.
  • Go ahead Steve, What kind of "radio set" are you working on?
  • In this scene Charlie and Charlies wife are in their house while people are throwing rocks at their window and basically trying to kill them.
  • Ahhhh!!!!
  • This piece supports my theme because it is explaining that that when you assume things it can lead to you or someone else being destructive to something or someone. This supports my theme because it shows that suspicion can lead to assumptions and various destructive things or people .
  • The monsters are due on maple street: Theme: Fear and Suspicion are destructive forces.
  • This piece supports my theme because Charlie is assuming that Steve is the alien because he is working on a radio set he has never scene before. This supports my theme because Charlie has already gotten to the state that he wants to find a scapegoat so he will not get blamed.
  • This supports my theme because the people of the town have now lost their minds and are trying to destroy each other as a scapegoat to not get blamed . This supports my theme because they have already tried to destroy each other of the suspicion of being an alien.
