Introduction: A man is sitting in his room reading and almost falling asleep at midnight on a December day.
Conflict: He is grieving the loss of his love, Lenore.
Rising Action: He hears someone knocking at his door. He opens the door and finds no one. It scares him. Then he opens the window and the raven flies in.
Climax: The raven settles himself on a statue. The man for some reason begins talking to it and asks the raven questions. The raven surprisingly answers "nevermore."
Falling Action: The man becomes angry because the only thing the raven replies is "nevermore."
Resolution: After the raven leaves, the man is still suffering the pain of losing Lenore. The raven causes the man to turn mad/crazy.
