The first barrier is the locked door, the second is the closed window, and the 3rd is the locked doggy door.
The dog is the protein digesting enzymes, and he makes sure that anything that comes too close, or inside the "house" (body) doesn't get too far
The dog's barking is the histamine, signalling the people within the house to react and begin to fight the intruder.
The dog's barking (histamine) sends the parents (white blood cells) downstairs to see what is going on.
The sudden movement and rush of people downstairs (fluid) causes a lot of tension in the room, which is very similar to swelling in an injury.
Meanwhile, at a neighbors house... Mrs. Turner (hypothalamus) has noticed the intruder and is currently contacting the police to come and rescue the homeowners. The police sirens will be very much like a temperature increase, and most likely will cause the invader to leave or, as the police come in (macrophages), die.
