Conflict management is very important when it comes to working with others. Without it, we'd get nothing done! One type of conflict management is collaborating.
Jack and Jill both spot a dollar on the floor of the classroom. They both want to keep the money so they can buy a 50¢ ice cream at lunch. What do they do???
Jill wants to keep the dollar all to herself and doesn't want to share.
The teacher comes over and akes change for the dollar. Jack and Jill both get 50¢ and can both get ice cream during lunch.
When two opposing sides collaborate, they are able to both walk away from the conflict happy.
