Before she can leave her house, she has to make sure everything is covered. Wearing black rope, scarf to cover her neck and head, etc.
The streets are filled and patrolled by militia. They patrol all of the streetsto make sure women wear their veils properly, do not wear makeup, do not walk with other men besides their husbands, brothers or fathers.
Seating on buses are segregated for women, all women must enter through the rear door and sit in the back of the bus. In other transportations it is not as strict and in some cases there is not segregation.
The streets have turned into a war zone. Women have to obey the rules and ones who disobey the rules must be taken to jail, fined, forced to do humiliating things. But as soon as they are done, they go back and do the same thing again.
Leaving her back at her house to be by her brother and think about her boyfriend she hopes to see someday.
