  • As a young boy, Trotsky attended school at the University of Odessa where he was introduced to Marxism. 
  • STOP AT ONCE!!!
  • After being arrested for revolutionary activity in 1898, he spent 4.5 years in a prison located in Siberia. He later escaped in 1902 with a forged passport and used the pseudonym Trotsky. 
  • YEAH RIGHT
  • I WILL THROW YOU OUT OF POWER!
  • In 1907, Trotsky was exiled once again to Siberia, but escaped yet again. Since he didn't support the war, each country he went to (Spain, France, etc.) kicked him out. He ended up working in NYC working with a Bolshevik theoretician in editing a Russian paper called "The New World". 
  • That's what you get for messing with me
  • LEON TROTSKY ASSASSINATED ON: August 21, 1940
  • Trotsky also helped with defeating forces opposed to Bolshevik control. 
  • Trotsky event went as far as engaging in a power struggle against Josef Stalin. 
  • Trotsky was assassinated due to his anti-war efforts against Stalin. Ramon Mercader carried out the assassination on August 20, 2017 with an ice pick, and Trotsky died the following day due to the severe injuries.
