- Today we are going to Creswell Craggs
- I spy with my little eye something beginning with c?
- Car!
- I was really excited to be going on the second school trip of the week to Creswell Craggs, as my Mum was coming with us too.
- We went on a double decker bus. In our group were Maggie, Ava, Ethan, Finley and Michael. On the way there we sat downstairs and on the way back I got to sit on the front seat on the top with Ethan, Oliver and Jamie. We played I spy.
- We met a caveman and he took the 'Mammoth' group into a dark cave. We had a helmet with a torch on our heads, so that we could see. He told us about the tools that the humans made and also about the animals that might live there too.

- We had a quick lunch and then learned some survival skills. We built a den out of sticks and branches. Although our den was the smallest I think it was the best and it did not collaspe!
- We got to throw a spear at a pretend deer and we were told the best area to aim for. I aimed for near the heart and I managed to hit it. Mummy missed the deer completely.
- We also learned about which animals were herbivores (plant eaters), carnivores (meat eaters) and omnivores (eat plants and meat) and what their teeth would look like. Then we did a 'dig' but I was disappointed as I did not get a chance to find anything. We then went home.
