  • I have been thinking about moving up north lately. I know it is cold but i think I can manage.
  • Maybe I'll move in spring so I can produce offspring there.
  • Ahh this is nice to be here in Alaska, but I'm nervous for the winter. I heard the tempature can get down to -45.6C to sometimes even -51.1C!
  • OOH  that is a handsome little frog right over there!!!
  • The American Wood Frog is looking for a new home to produce offspring
  • After moving to Alaska...
  • Look at our beautiful baby Alaskan Wood Frogs
  • Don't worry kids, winter will be cold but you can survive!
  •  While hunting for a place to settle, she notices an Alaskan Frog across the pond.
  • Everyone tucked in under your leaf blankets? The snow will come soon and insulate your beds for the winter. Sleep well!
  • It was love at first sight! The family has begun.
  • The little baby frogs that were just born turn out to be        Alaskan Wood Frogs.
  • The Alaskan wood frogs hearts stop beating, their lungs and their digestive systems stop. The Alaskan Wood Frogs have stored extra glucose in their liver so that when the frigid temperatures drop, the glucose is released into the blood     stream which acts like an anti-freeze.
