OJ Simpson was a famous football player for the Buffalo Bills and the San Fransisco 49ers. He won the 1968 Heisman Trophy and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1985
Simpson married Nicole Brown in 1985. They had two children together. Nicole Brown filed for divorce in 1992.
Two years after her divorce from OJ Simpson, Nicole Brown and her friend Ronald Goldman were found murdered outside her home in Los Angeles. OJ Simpson became the main suspect.
Evidence pointed towards the fact that Simpson beat his ex-wife while they were still married, and continued to have a fluctuating relationship with Brown even after their divorce. A pair of his gloves were found at the crime scene.
Despite the overwhelming amount of evidence that OJ Simpson committed the murder, the jury acquitted him of all charges in October 1995.
Although the court ruled Simpson as not guilty, most of America believes that Simpson did murder Nicole Brown and her friend. To these people, OJ Simpson will always be known as a murderer, which can be symbolized by the letter "M".
