Journey to the Center of the Earth
I've decided to go on a scientific research adventure to the center of the Earth!
The crust is the outermost layer of the Earth! It has a continental part and an oceanic part. I am in the continental part right now.
Now I am in the oceanic part. I love being in my submarine!
Now I am in the mantle, the largest of the geological layers.
Don't forget; the lithosphere is part of the crust and plus the top part of the mantle and it floats on the asthenosphere, the asthenosphere is "plastic" and is the top part of the mantle.
The outer core is the only liquid layer. The outer core is also my favorite layer!
I'm finally in the inner core; the last stop on my scientific adventure. Thanks for joining me on my adventure!
