Storyboard Text

  • First you slice the terms that are separated by addition or subtraction symbol.
  • I forgot to do my homework and I don't know how to do integers. Can you help me?
  • How do you use integers in multiplication and division?
  • If you divide or multiply a positive by a positive it's a positive but if it is a negative and a positive it is a negative.
  • If you multiply or divide a negative by a negative its equals a positive.
  • But if it is a negative and a negative you add and it will be negative but if it is a positive and a negative then you subtract and it could be a positive or negative.
  • So we did multiply and dividing so how did we add and subtract?
  • If you want to add and subtract and the numbers are both positive you will add and get a positive.
  • 13+-7= 6   -25-50=-75 6(-4+5)=6 -7 x -9=63 15-25=-10 10+-10=0
  • I still don't get it. Can you give me some examples?
  • Thanks, see you tomorrow at school.
  • I think I get it but can you give me more examples to clarify?
  • Sure, but only six because I have to go home. 12--13=25 7-+30=-23 -73--26=-47 23-+12=11 -14/2=-7 -36/-9=4
  • Wow good job!
  • 98% A
  • 100% A+
  • Thanks for helping me you did a lot! Good job to you too.
