Rowing a little further they came upon the island of cyclops.
In the distance, they found a cavern surrounded by sheep that they plan to eat.
Odysseus tries to tell the cyclops his sorry story so he could steal some sheep, but instead of feeling pity, the cyclops eats a few of his men.
Odysseus tricks the cyclops to keep him occupied to give Odysseus time to steal the sheep.

The Cyclops soon figured out his trick. Little did Odysseus know, the cyclops was the son of Poseidon.
