  • OHHH NOOO!! I think I've just got my period !!!!!!!!!
  • This is loran. she is 13 and right now she is going through Puberty. she has just found out that she has got her period. she is scared and she doesn't know what to do.
  • everyone goes through puberty from the age of 12-17. This is something that happens to everyone. Puberty releases hormones into the body that creates an awareness of sexuality and secondary sex characteristics-pubic hair, growth of the gonads, acne, facial hair, and voice change in males. a growth spurt occurs. calcium, iron and other materials and vitermins especially important to support growth phase.
  • If you are going through this phase in life, and you are confused and you don't know what to do, go and ask a trusted adult for their advise. By asking an adult, it will help you and you may fell a bit more confident with what is going on in your body.
  • Darling it's fine it happens to everyone. once you know what to do it's not scary. here is this little booklet with some 'lady essentials' and go to the bathroom and sort yourself out. I promise it will be fine.
  • Mum, in scared!! I think i just got my period. i don't know what to do and I'm confused can you help me?
  • OHHH!! That is not as stressful as what I thought it was. wow i think this is going to be easier than I thought!!
  • After you get to know what you have to do with this situation in your life, you will find it all so easy to do. but if you are still a bit unsure just make sure you keep asking a trusted adult what to do, so that once you do know what to do, it will be a breeze.
