  • Cellular Activity
  • Photosynthesis takes place inside my chloroplasts, which make me green.
  • When the water and carbon dioxide enter my chloroplasts and sunlight shines on them, a chemical reaction occurs. Then I release the carbohydrates and oxygen, the main product that were produced.
  • For photosynthesis the plant needs water from the ground, absorbing it with its roots. The sunlight is absorbed into the leaves.
  • Respiration
  • Oxygen
  • Finally the plant needs carbon dioxide, and the plant gets this from the air.
  • Respiration
  • Carbon Dioxide
  • Cellular Activity
  • 6CO2 + 6H2O
  • In my cells, glucose and oxygen enter the mitochondria in my cells. A chemical reaction occurs. Then my cells expel water and carbon dioxide which travels out my body.
  • C6H12O6 + 6O2
  • When photosynthesis happens and the plant releases oxygen and carbohydrates, animals like the wolf breathe in the oxygen and carbohydrates.
  • Carbohydrates
  • The wolf would breathe out carbon dioxide, and expel water, which in turn the plant uses.
  • Water
  • C6H12O6 + 6O2 becomes 6CO2 + 6H2O + ATP
