Common mans perspective
I am Andrew Jackson I know that the cherokee will be safe on their trip to their new home
21st century perspective
He was doing what was right to protect his people
He is guilty because he killed thousands of the cherokee and he knows that they would have need more supplies then they were given since he lead an army.
We don't have enough supplies to keep everyone alive.4,000 out of 15,000 of us died on our trip.
He was put on the 20 dollar bill since he looked after the common mans interest. He said that the Cherokee will be moved to a bigger and better home. He was a hero to the common man.
As of today we are evaluating the events that happened when Jackson was president. In 2020 he will official be off the $20 bill because what he did was not constitutional.
The Cherokee people didn't deserve to be moved. Jackson only moved them so he could have the land to grow cotton so he could have more money.
