Storyboard Text

  • You have a lot to learn. I'd like to introduce you to W. E. B. Dubois, the Ghost of Catcallers Present.
  • I can see that I have a lot of work to do.
  • No, she should be honored that I talked to her.
  • Remember what you said to the poor girl? Do you think what said hurt her feelings?
  • No, you're the one that should be honored. In my book I argue for equality between blacks and whites. I yearn for equal opportunity and the right to be educated. You have that, you can do amazing things, but you chose to sit on the street and shout crude things at women. Don't ruin the chances you have just because she won't sleep with you.
  • I don't understand.
  • Don't you see, you are living a dream. You're ancestors didn't fight for years and years to gain equality just so you could go sit on the street and holler at white women and not get put in jail because of it. Why don't you put that mouth to good use and become a lawyer or politician or something.
  • Look, that's you, you died alone.
  • Here lies Michael. He did sad and alone.
  • Are you starting to get the picture now of what you're going to become if you keep up with your asshole ways? I'm Karl Marx, the Ghost of Catcallers Future by the way.
  • Here lies Michael. He did sad and alone.
