• Thanks! Now this problem - 5^4 / 5^2. How do i do it?
• This one is called the quotient rule. You have to subtract the exponents to get 5^2. Wahlaaa!
• I understand! but, now this one..? - 7^3 / 7^7
• Thats simple! All you do is subtract the exponents to get 7^-4. Then, since there is a negative, you put that in the denominator and a 1 in the numerator. This is the negative exponent rule.
• Cool! Now i have this problem - 0^0.
• There's a simple solution to this one - anything to the 0 power will always equal 1. This is called the zero exponent rule!
