Brian was sleeping after his encounter with the porcupine
Brian picks up his hatchet, eats the berries he gathered before, while stretching his legs
Brian remembers when he threw the hatchet at the porcupine that the hatchet created sparks against the rocks.
Brain strips the bark off of birch trees, and dry leaves as kindling for the fire he is trying to make
Brain uses his hachet to start up the smoke and fire using the sparks and kindling
He throws the logs he got onto the flames and he got a fire going. ( he is happy)
