  • The election of 1824 ends with no one winning the election between Andrew Jackson and John Quincy Adams.
  • People realize that Adams made a corrupt bargain
  • That makes his whole Presidency a fail!
  • I head today that clay made Adams win the election
  • Henry Clay drops out of the election so he can make Adams the president in exchange for Clay becoming secretary of state.
  • The Election of 1828
  • Jackson wins by a landslide!
  • The election is won by Adams with the help of Clay. The people are okay with this.
  • The results
  • Word gets out that Clay helped Adams win the election. Now the people think that he is disloyal and untrustworthy.
  • The next election comes and Adams runs again. This time the people vote for Jackson because they do not trust Adams.
  • Jackson makes it easier for people to be involved in the government. Also he fired a lot of the people that work in the White House and hire new ones that are no qualified for the job. This changed the way America was run.
