  • Mark promised his dad to embrace his trait, but he was still unsure on why they look the way they do.

  • Mark's mom decided to use this time to explain to Mark how different genes affect specific individuals. She explains to him that over time, eels like themselves mutated to better adapt to their environment
  • You see honey...
  • After having a talk with his mom, Mark finally realized how cool his species is.
  • Wow! Being a Moray Eel is cooler than I thought!
  • On Monday morning...
  • Ok class, tomorrow will be show and tell. Make sure to bring something unique!
  • During show and tell, Mark brings a photo of his grandfather. He explains to his class how his grandpa was the last of their kind with only one jaw. Mark explained that the trait was not passed on because it was an unfavourable trait.
  • For show and tell today, I brought a picture of my great grandfather.
  • He continued to explain that the trait was killed overtime as Mark's grandpa could not suction fish and eat them since they were living under a rock. He also said that leaving the rock would cause them to be hunted by sharks! This fascinated the crowd.
