"Now go eat, I hear rain coming."
While King Arab went to eat, Ellijah climbed to the top of the mountain and waited for rain.
"Go and look towards the seas" Elijah asked his servant.
The servant didn't see anything. But, by the seventh time he came back to see if there was any rain. He saw a cloud no bigger than a mans hand arise from the water.
A little whlie later the sky was covered with dark clouds, the wind began to blow and the heavy rain began to fall. Meanwhile Ahab go into his chariot and started back to Jezreel. The power of the lord came upon Elijah: he fastened his clothes around his waist and ran ahead of Ahab all the way to Jezrel.
Ahab told Jezebel everything that had happened and what Elijah had done to the Baal prophets.
Jezebel was not happy with Elijah and sent him a message: "May the gods strike me dead by this time tomorrow I don't do the same thing to you that you did to the prophets. This is significant for Jezebel because this leads on to the following important events of Jezebels life ands story.
