HOME FIRE SAFETY
Time to test the smoke alarms
WHAT TO DO WHEN THERE IS FIRE
What to do to prepare for a fire and what to do when there is a fire.
Have an escape plan; every room needs to have at least two ways out! Have smoke alarms in each room and test them once a month! Practice your fire escape plan twice a year. Practice with your eyes closed!
Feel the doorknob or door. If it is hot use your second way out. If it is not hot open the door but be ready to close it if there is smoke.Crawl on the floor so you won't breathe in any smoke. Be quick; do not go for your pets or grab anything. If your clothes catch fire- Cover face, STOP, DROP and ROLL!
