But I want to play basketball
Greg is on the run and it starts to storm so he runs into an old building. While Greg is in the room he hears and noise. A moment later a voice says “Don’t try nothin’ ’cause I got a razor here sharp enough to cut a week into nine days!” (pg. 181) and Greg begins to worry who's there. Then Lemon Brown comes out and Greg and Lemon Brown start to talk.
The thugs came after Lemon Brown because they heard he had money/treasure. Lemon Brown decided to hide on the upper level of the run- down apartment to keep him and his treasure safe. The thugs come after him and he decides to fling himself at the them.
Greg wanted to play basketball for his school but he wasn't able to because of his grades. Now, he wants to play basketball for the Scorpions but his dad won't let him due to his bad grades. That's where the conflict starts between Greg and his dad.
