Ok, so today we will be learning about the big bang theory.
Excuse me miss what is the Big Bang Theory?
The Big Bang Theory is when everything in this universe was created. It predicts that the early universe was a very hot place and that as it expands the gas within it cools.
That's cool. Who discovered all of this?
Well that is a very good question. Let's see...
Firstly Cecilia Payne discovered what stars are made out of in 1925. Stars are made out of hydrogen and Helium.
Many astronomers have discovered things about the Big Bang Theory.
O is considered the hottest and M is the coolest surface temperature of the stars.
She did this by discovering seven types of spectra. These are O, B, A, F, G and M.
Next the idea of the Big Bang first appeared in scientific form in 1931, in a paper by Georges Lemaitre.
Now that is only a small part of our universes history lets continue on with all the other stuff...
