  • Introduction The book starts with the main character, Cheyenne, lying the backseat while her step mom runs into the store to get her medicine, because Cheyenne is blind, and has pneumonia. 
  • "I am Cheyenne, a few years ago I was pronounced blind" (2).
  • "...in the room, the doctors told Cheyenne and her father that she had pneumonia" (2).
  • Rising Action The rising action takes place when middle aged Griffin, jumps in the fromt seat, not knowing Cheyenne is back there, and steals the car.
  • "..all of a sudden, I hear a heavy slump in the drivers side...and it wasn't my step mom..." (12).
  • "...Ugh! How could I be so stupid! Father will kill me..." (12).
  • "LET ME GO, GRIFFIN!" (45).
  • Climax The climax take place when Griffin takes Cheyenne into a beat down room, and explains to her what's going on, and starts to like Cheyenne
  • "Relax, my dad said he will let you go when he gets the money. Cheyanne, I'm not like them." (45).
  • "Put your dad's number in, him and I need to have a chat" (58).
  • The falling action is when griffin's dad makes Cheyanne give him her fathers number.
