Storyboard Text

  • We've gone on long enough, rest nanuk.
  • What about the town you said you'd help me find.
  • Look around nanuk, the ice is not yet frozen enough to walk across.
  • Two male polar bears walk the pack ice neither searching for the same thing. One is younger while the other is older. However a blizzard is approaching leaving the younger tense.
  • The younger of the two is Ingavar looking for a town in Canada, while the older Thoran is following the stars looking for a specific one. Setting- arctic lands of Canada.
  • Nanuk is what older bears call their young or someone inexperienced. Thoran decided to tag along with Ingavar because he was going the wrong direction. Because of this Thoran helps Ingavar find the town.
  • The ice is still water in the picture and not yet frozen over to walk across. This is the only way into town where Ingavar needs to go.
  • Ingavar walks with a limp because of an incident with humans trying to capture him and kill him for his pelt. Thoran is wised by many years and uses the stars to navigate the arctic.
  • As i said rest, that way we can wait out the blizzard and in the morning we walk across the ice.
  • This story board is from the book Firestar by Chris D, Lacey it may not be what the book actually says mainly because I haven't read it in a while.
