Storyboard Text

  • When do I start?
  • Are you guys in?
  • The location will work.
  • I worked at the University of Cal Berkeley. General Groves approached me about a top secret government project despite my former contact with Soviets. I took the job as the head of Los Alamos.
  • It worked!
  • I traveled to many other universities across the U.S. and recruited other top physicists.
  • All Those lives!
  • We found a remote site in New Mexico where we could have our lab. We started experimenting on how to build an atomic bomb.
  • You are hereby restricted from top secret government affairs.
  • We made our bombs and decided we needed to test one. The test went well. We were all happy.
  • We then dropped the two bomb on Japan. We celebrated the fact that the bomb worked, but we were also sad that we had started a  nuclear war.
  • Although i had helped make the uranium and plutonium bombs, i decided that was enough. The government tried to make me build an even bigger bomb. I opposed, though, and they took away my access to the research they were doing there.
