  • AIDS is caused by sexual contact, blood transfer, and is passed down from mother to child. AIDS is a retrovirus.
  • Hello, I have AIDS. I got it at a blood drive when I used and unsanitized needle after someone who had AIDS.
  • AIDS is a retrovirus that weakens the immune system and makes the body more vulnerable to infections and cancer.
  • AIDS stands for acquired immune deficiency syndrome. Because I have AIDS, my immune system isn't functioning correctly.
  • Symptoms of AIDS include: diarrhea, fever, headache, mouth sores, muscle stiffness/ aching, night sweats, rashes, sore throat, and swollen lymph glands.
  • I have a lot of diarrhea and headaches.
  • AIDS affects humans.
  • There are three stages of AIDS. The first stage of AIDS is when the body fights against the HIV. The second stage is when the immune system losses the battle against the HIV and the symptoms stop. The HIV starts killing cells. Someone can have AIDS at that point and not even know it. The third stage is when someone is actually diagnosed with AIDS and a certain amount of cells are killed.
  • There is no know cure for AIDS, but there are treatments that can help manage symptoms.
