  • BEFORE THE BATTLE
  • We should stay here at the Alamo
  • THE MEXICAN ARMY ARRIVES
  • Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna has had enough of your rebellion
  • THE TWO WEEK BATTLE
  • The Alamo was an important place of refuge for the Texans. It was an abandoned mission that the Texans used to house a number of their defenders.
  • TEXANS START TO DROP
  •
  • The Mexican Army arrived at the Alamo with around 6,000 troops. The Texan defenders numbered 150. Then the fighting began
  • ALL TEXANS ARE KILLED
  • Over the next two weeks the Texans fought off the 6,000 Mexicans, but because they weren't as skilled as the Mexican Army, they couldn't hold off the Army.
  • THE MEXICAN ARMY WINS
  • Although they fought bravely, the Texans started to drop. Davey Crockett and his men fought as hard as they could and it was a miracle they lasted as long as they did.
  •
  •
  • In the end all the Texans were killed. Some say that their ghosts still haunt the Alamo.
  • Even though the Mexican Army won, Texas eventually won its independence. A battle cry for the remainder of the independence battles was, "Remember the Alamo."
  • We won!
