Storyboard Text

  • Character Traits: Melody is a very neat and nice person. She does sometimes get mad at herself for not being normal, but she gets over it. She is very forgiving, but she will stand up for herself when she needs to.
  • Moment: A significant moment for Melody was when she found a Medi-Talker. The Medi-Talker helps her speak, since she isn't able to speak on her own. When she got it, she was able to share her inside thoughts.
  • Physical Traits: Melody is unable to move, so she has to move around in a wheel chair. She cannot move her arms, so they stay still most of the time, but she is able to move her thumbs.
  • Character Traits: Melody's mother is very strong and hard-working. She is not afraid to share out her feelings and she is always there to talk to Melody when she needs it.
  • Physical Traits: Melody's mother is very young and a beautiful and strong woman. She is very supportive of Melody no matter what.
  • Moment: A significant moment for her Melody's mother figured out that Melody was in the paper. This moment was significant because she seemed proud of her daughter and was very happy for her.
  • Character Traits: Melody's father is known to be the man of the house. After Penny was born, he tries to get even more involved with the family. He makes sure he is helping his wife out enough with two kids.
  • Moment: When Melody's father would do something nice for Melody when she was younger. This was a significant moment because this helped build a stronger relationship between him and Melody.
  • Physical Trait: Melody's father is known to be a very strong man, both physically and mentally. In the book, he had a very tall figure.
  • Character Traits: Mrs. V had always been a determined person. She had pushed Melody to do the things she needed and always looked after her. She never let Melody think bad of herself.
  • Moment: A significant moment for Mrs. V was when she got a phone call that told her everything was fine with Penny. This was special because it was a relief to everyone who thought she might die.
  • Physical Traits: Mrs. V is a very tall woman. She was described as a tall woman with darker hair. She was a little bit older than most other characters. She was also light skinned.
  • Character Traits: Catherine will always be by Melody's side when it comes to school. Catherine is someone you could depend on to do something or get something done, and she is very helpful.
  • Moment: A significant moment for Catherine would be when she was first introduced to Melody. This moment sparked a strong relationship between the two.
  • Physical Traits: Catherine is a very young aid that helped Melody when she needed it at school. She has a creative way to show her fashion and clothing.
  • Character Traits: Rose is one of Melody's only friends. She sometimes goes to hang out with Claire and Molly and ditches Melody. She is very supportive when she needs to be, though.
  • Physical Traits: Rose is a smart and talented person. She is thought to be a be a perfectionist and she is around the average height for her age.
  • Moment: A significant moment for Rose would be when she learned she would be on the quiz team. this was significant because it sparked a new conflict and added onto the plot of the story.
