One day, Kokoro saw Cindy having lunch alone. Rokoko decided to sit with her. They talked and got to know one another. By the end of lunch they became friends.
In the hallway after lunch, Kokoro introduced Cindy to her friends and they all become friends.
The next couple of weeks was fun for Cindy. One day Kokoro did not come to school. Cindy came to find out that Rokoko ran away, leaving Cindy all alone.
Cindy was struggling to attend school everyday. The bullying was getting worse because she was all alone and Kokoro was not there to support her. Cindy didn't like being alone.
While all the bullying was happening at school. no one knew how bad her home life was as well. Her life was unbearable. Meanwhile, Kokoro never returns home. Loves her life outside of Tuba City.
Unfortunately, Cindy couldn't take it anymore and committed suicide. She died with pride of who she was as a Native American girl.
