•Child centered play based approach to educating young children appears to be the most successful and represents best-practice. •Play is an important vehicle for developing self-regulation and promoting language, cognition, and social competence.

Through continuous professional development reviewing of curriculum, activities, and environment, assess whether or not what was offered truly is DAP.
