Storyboard Text

  • Thales
  • The Earth is flat I know it is I just know it.
  • Amaximander
  • I don't understand I know that the Earth is Cydrical.
  • Pythagoras
  • Am I not correct because I can hear the beautiful crystals touch each other all the time.
  • Thales was an astronomer that thought that Earth was flat. He must of thought the earth was flat because the way the horizon looks. That's just because we are on it and it does look flat but is not.
  • Aristotle
  • I don't believe that this. The sun is not spinning around the Earth but now the other way around.
  • Amaximander thought very different than Thales. Anaximander believed that the Earth was cylindrical. So that means he thought that the Earth was shaped like a can of beans. He must have thought this because he thought of his aperion as a filling the space between the Earth.
  • Copernicus
  • I feel like i'm missing something. Well I hope i'm not.
  • Pythagoras was not as close . He believed that there was crystals that held the stars the sun and even the other planets. Pythagoras also thought that when the  crystals touched that they would make music. He must have thought this because the Earth does make a type of sound. It made a sound like this because there was type of radiation so that is what he had heard.
  • Aristachus
  • All of my  theory's were correct. About the Earth the sun and many more.
  • Aristotle was a very smart astronomer. He actually believed that the Earth was a sphere. He was correct but he did think the sun spun around the Earth.  He thought this because if you do look at it the sun does look like it is. He was close but not quite.
  • Copernicus was correct about the Earth revolving around the sun.He was also correct about the Sun being it the center of the universe. He's calculations  were  long lost. When he was done he was very scared about his theory not being complete.
  • Aristarchus believed that the Earth actually spun around the sun.  He thought that because he found out that any and all objects move toward the center of the Earth. He didn't  also get that correct but he even said that the Earth was a sphere!
