second scene of my music video
This storyboard does not have a description.
I will use a cut shot to get to the next scene, so that the audience is aware that this is the actual beginning of the piece. This scene will be in the countryside, this is to give natural representations and to give the idea that the character doesn't have a home to go back to.
I will use many different shots of the area, including a shot of a bridge, scenic views and of a bench, most of which I will have my character in. I want to keep the focus on the one person, so in this scene will use many differing shots e.g. close ups, long shots, mid shots, and tracking shots along with many different angles.
The usage of different angles and shot types is to explore the character, and to allow me to play between the lyrics and the visuals so that I can keep continuity between the video and sound.
It is important that I show this scene as majorly different to the town centre one. This is to show a contrast of the scenes and how the characters behaviour differs between the two scenes- which the audience can interpret for themselves.
In this part of my music video I will keep the narrative running but also include some performance elements. It is important for me to use close ups and emphasise the character with my camera work so that they seem like the 'star'. This follows Dyers theory, and should also help keep my audience intrigued as the character is also the main singer.
At the end of this scene, I will include a continuity shot that will relate to the next scene (which is back in the town centre) where I will include my character walking to her next destination. Here I will use many tracking shots to emphasise the idea that she does not have any transport and therefore help to the field of the text to come through- which is poverty, and loneliness.
