Ready for the game?
NOO! How could mere humans beat me
Naismith gave the people a list of requirements that had to be included in the game. 1. there needed to be a ball that he could bounce up and down with ease. 2. Needed to be two places to throw the ball into, one for Naismith and one for the humans. 3. No more than 5 people can play at one time for both sides. 4. Allowed the humans to create the rest of the rules as they saw fit.
Lastly the humans then came up with 13 rules that had to be followed during the game, and they created these rules in their favor. They then created a ball out of leather panels stitched together with a rubber bladder inside and a cloth lining was added to the leather to support it. And put the basket 10ft high.
Finally the day came, the god Naismith came down from the heavens along with 4 of his heavenly servants. The match ended with the humans beating the God and his servants by 10 points in the second half. The God Naismith then declared this game “Basketball”.When the humans won, Naismith and his servants returned to the heavens but he promised that one day he would return. Ever since then humans have been training for that day.
