Iago tells Othello about Cassio and Desdemona in bed together. Othello talks about how he saw Cassio with Desdemona's handkerchief. Othello falls in a trance.
While Othello sulks, Iago talks to himself about how he is going to make it look like Cassio is talking about Desdemona, but in reality he is talking about Bianca.
Othello hides so he can listen into Iago and Cassio's conversation. He gets very angry when Cassio starts talking about how Desdemona (actually Bianca) is a strumpet and that he would never marry her.
I marry her!-What? A customer!
Othello tells Iago of all of the ways he will kill Desdemona. Iago tells him to strangle her in her bed.
Ay, let her rot, and perish
Lodovico gives Othello a package that said that he was supposed to come home to Venice. Othello becomes very angry when Desdemona says that she loves Cassio and strikes her. Lodovico is disgusted by his actions.
Othello asks Emilia if she has seen anything going on between Desdemona and Cassio. Emilia is confused and explains that nothing has happened between the two.
