  • A point is a spot on a line marked by a dot. A line is a figure that extends in both directions infinitely. A line segment is a line that has to end points on each end. A ray is a line with an end point on one side with the other side extending infinitely.
  • Angles are figures formed by two rays that make up the end point of a ray which is called a vertex. In geometry, congruent essential means equal to. If two lines are beside each other they are parallel.
  • Two lines that form a right angle they are perpendicular. A line that divides a figure into equal parts is a bisector. The distance formula determines how many units apart two points are. The midpoint formula finds the midpoint between to points.
