  • The Tell-Tale Heart
  • Hello My name is Edgar Allan Poe and this is my story The Tell-Tale Heart
  • Exposition
  • This is where the old man and his evil weird eye lives.
  • Rising action
  • I'm just going to watch him sleeping every night.
  • Author: Edgar Allan Poe Created by: Nirzana Rasul Teacher: Ms. Singh Period: 3 11/20/17
  • Climax
  • *Muffled screaming*
  • Did his heart stop beating? Yes, indeed it did. Satisfaction!
  • The house on the right is the neighbors house and the one in the middle is the house that the old man lives in. I respect the old man because he has a lot of sagacity, but i just don't like that eye of his.
  • Falling action
  • Finally he is dead and i get to chop up his body and hide it.
  • Edgar sneaks into the old mans house for 7 days. He watched him sleep every night. He did it willingly not vehemently.
  • Resolution
  • OH MY GOD! WHAT IS THAT HORRIBLE SOUND?! Over there under the floorboards. Yes! I killed him because of that evil eye of his.
  • He pulled the sheets over the old mans face and suffocated him. Then he started laughing in derision.
  • He hearken to himself and chopped up the old mans body into tiny pieces and made sure he didn't leave any blood stains. Then he hid the body parts in the floorboards. Later on the police came.
  • He happily invited the police in to check the house. They took the suppositions he was telling them. They took a seat in the room. Eventually, he heard the heartbeat beating really loud and ended up showing the police he did kill the old man.
