  • Bob was a ordinary man who lived in the union. He did not agree with many of the south's customs and wanted to help create change.
  • Bob was an ordinary man who lived in the north. He did not agree with southern customs spreading throughout and wanted to help create change.
  • Bob moved to the south so that he could help to stop the spread of southern customs from the inside
  • Bob did not agree with the fugitive slave act because it allowed white southerners to force many free men into slavery.
  • Bob played a part in assisting slaves with the Underground Railroad so that they could escape.
  • When southern leaders found out about Bob's actions, they were very mad and blamed the union
  • As war grew closer, people like Bob continued doing what they did best. They took action to create change and reform. There will always be people like Bob and this is why the civil war was inevitable.
